First-Ever Asian Luxury Cruise Line Dream Cruises Officially Launches in Singapore

With increasing options for travel, tourism and hospitality providers have been pushing the boundaries to bring the best vacation experiences to guests. Genting Hong Kong’s brand new premium cruise line, Dream Cruises, aims to cater to the burgeoning premium market in Asia, by offering inspiration luxury with the highest level of guest service and spacious comfort in the region. It recently launched officially in Singapore, expanding its reach across Asia.

Genting Dream is the first ship from Dream Cruises and it will make its maiden sail in November this year. Accommodating a lower berth of 3400 guests attended to by 2000 crew members, Genting Dream forms the leading crew-to-guest ratio in Asia-based cruising. Before even boarding the ship, one can marvel at the hull of Genting Dream, beautifully adorned by a specially commissioned art piece conceived by Chinese pop-artist Jacky Tsai. Entitled “Voyage of a Lover’s Dream”, it which envisages an ethereal and fanatical journey of love between a mermaid and an astronaut.

On board, Genting Dream’s range of staterooms offer a haven of calm; balancing modern convenience with total tranquility. More than 70% of the staterooms come with private balconies, so you can spend countless moments enchanted by the deep blue sea and wake up to incredible views of the horizon. Family and larger groups can choose from the 100 connecting rooms for added convenience.

Foodies will be delighted to find out that there are 35 restaurant and bar concepts, as well as a 619-metre wraparound promenade which allows for dramatic sea-side dining and lounging from sunrise-to-sunset in a multitude of themed venues.

Guests can enjoy the freshest sushi at Umi Uma.

One iconic attraction on board the Genting Dream would be the first ever Zouk club on sea. Expect the same legendary parties from the iconic club, except this time, it’s on the high seas. When you’re done clubbing indoors, head out to Zouk Beach and dance to tracks spun by world class DJs till the wee hours of the morning.

Just in case you’re not in a clubbing kind of mood, scoot over to the Silk Road & Cabaret for the over 18s. Dream girls will come and perform fun, cabaret-style burlesques for you. The performances are interactive so join in whenever you want!

The Silk Road & Cabaret is located just next to a slew of private karaoke rooms for you to sing to your heart’s content.

All these partying needs to be counterbalanced with some slow-paced pampering, and Crystal Life has got you covered on the open sea.
