Actor Chris Evans aka Captain America is in Singapore. The Hollywood heartthrob made an appearance this morning at a press conference at Marina Bay Sands.
His visit to Singapore is part of a promotion for the latest instalment of Captain America: Civil War. The stars of the movie are currently on a world tour. TeamIronMan, led by Robert Downey Jr., has made its presence felt in Paris earlier this week – with a special light-up of the Eiffel Tower, no less.
TeamCap, led by Chris Evans, comprises Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier) and Anthony Mackie (Falcon), as well as director Joe Russo.
Anthony Mackie was evidently the joker of the group. When asked how he would describe Iron Man, given that Falcon was described as “Bird Suit” in the movie, Mackie called Iron Man a “Coke can” and Black Panther “Michelin car tyre”.
This Friday, the team will be taking Marina Bay Sands, Helix Bridge and The Singapore Flyer for a show-stopping light-up and fireworks display. The show will be open to members of the public.
Members of TeamCap will also be making a special Blue Carpet appearance this evening at Marina Bay Sands near the skating rink.
