The long awaited Jubilee Weekend has arrived for Singaporeans! No plans yet? Then perhaps you should consider heading down to Gardens by the Bay for a great time. Here are just some of the more exciting things in store for you:

1. Catch the “Singapore Stories” Floral Display

For all who delight in admiring flowers and greenery, this is the place for you. You’ll be amazed by this intricate display features more than 8,000 orchard plants. Do also keep a lookout for the 10 local folklores (from the iconic Merlion to the familiar Sang Utama) located all across the Conservatory being brought to life.

What’s more, from 7 to 10 August 2015, all Singapore residents will enjoy 50% off entry to this attraction, while local seniors (aged 60 and above) receive free entry.

2. Be Wowed by the SG50 Edition of Garden Rhapsody

With the bright-colored Supertrees and the incorporation of a laser show for the first time, get ready to be awed by this spectacle. What is even more special is that the show will feature a medley of your favourite Singapore songs. You can’t help but feel patriotic and proud watching this SG50 edition of the Garden Rhapsody.

While there are shows at 7.45 pm and 8.45 pm daily, all visitors can get to enjoy additional showtimes from 6 to 10 August at 7.45 pm, 8.30 pm, 9.15 pm and 10 pm respectively.

3. Enjoy Good food at Satay by the Bay

After a long day of walking round the place and taking in the glorious scenery, you would want a place to chill and just tuck into some good food.

With succulent satay, delectable Hokkien mee, delicious seafood from local actress Felicia Chin’s new restaurant Wholly Crab, this is the place for all you food lovers. What’s great about this place is the variety of stalls available and how you get to enjoy the picturesque view of the Supertrees and greenery while happily enjoying your meal.
