Let’s be honest: most of us are not reapplying sunscreen the way we’re supposed to. The idea of touching up sunscreen over makeup mid-afternoon, or digging out a full-size tube before a weekend hike, rarely survives contact with reality. Lancaster’s latest additions seem designed with exactly that friction in mind.
The brand, which has been in the sun care space since 1946, has expanded two of its core lines with new products that lean into portability and ease of use. The Sun Perfect AIR range introduces lightweight daily fluids and a face mist, while the Sun Beauty line gets two new travel-friendly formats.
The Sun Perfect AIR Fluids: One Formula Doesn’t Fit All
The most substantial addition is the Sun Perfect AIR Daily Invisible Fluid SPF50, which comes in four separate formulas rather than a single catch-all version. That’s a more considered approach than the typical “suitable for all skin types” claim, and it means there’s a version calibrated to what your skin actually needs.

The Glow Booster variant is aimed at dull or tired-looking skin, using a Vitamin C and Ginkgo Biloba complex to help even tone and fight off the kind of urban pollution stress that accumulates over time. For dry skin, the 24H Hydration version leans on glycerin and hyaluronic acid for immediate and longer-term moisture. If oily or blemish-prone skin is the concern, the Pore & Imperfections formula brings together Zinc PCA, Centella Asiatica and Witch Hazel to help manage sebum and refine texture. And for sensitive skin or anyone recovering from a procedure, the Sensitive Mineral version takes a mineral approach with a calming complex that targets redness.
All four are priced at $70 for 40ml and share the same SPF50 protection across UVA, UVB, Infrared and Visible light (including Blue Light) under what Lancaster calls its New Gen Full Light Technology. The textures are described as invisible and airy, which matters for daily wear in a climate like Singapore’s where a heavy-feeling sunscreen is a hard sell in the long run.
The Face Mist: Reapplication Without the Fuss
Alongside the fluids, Lancaster has added a Sun Perfect AIR Invisible Face Mist SPF50 ($70 for 75ml) that addresses the reapplication problem more directly. It’s designed to be spritzed on throughout the day, including over makeup, without disturbing whatever’s already on your face.

SPF mists occupy a slightly contested space in skincare, but for people who are mostly indoors with occasional outdoor exposure rather than spending hours in direct sun, a light top-up product like this is at least more realistic than asking someone to fully reapply a fluid every two hours. It’s positioned as a complement to your morning sunscreen rather than a standalone replacement.
Sun Beauty: Two New Portable Formats
The Sun Beauty range has a different character from Sun Perfect AIR. Where the latter is oriented around daily urban skincare, Sun Beauty is more outdoors-focused, and its signature Natural Tan Activator is designed to help a tan develop more efficiently so you need less time in the sun to achieve the same result.
The two new additions keep things simple. The Sun Beauty Face & Body Pocket Cream SPF50 ($60 for 30ml) is a compact cream inspired by the shape of a smooth pebble, designed to slip into a bag or pocket without taking up much space. It covers both face and body, which makes it practical for beach days or outdoor activities where you want one product to handle everything.
The Sun Beauty Face Stick SPF50 ($60, 20g) is the hands-free option, with a translucent formula that glides on without leaving residue. Sticks have become a popular sunscreen format in Asia partly because they’re less messy to apply over existing skincare, and this one works on the same broad-spectrum Full Light Technology as the rest of the range.

The full Sun Perfect AIR and Sun Beauty ranges are available now at BHG Bugis, Takashimaya, and online at Shopee and Lazada.
