Once a year, Sydney is enshrouded in a kaleidoscope of colours, lights and sounds and it’s no exception this year. The Australian city will once again burst into action for Vivid Sydney Festival over 23 nights from 26 May to 17 June 2017.
Over 90 installations and projections, created by more than 180 Australian and international artists, will be showcased at the highly anticipated festival. That’s not all – even Sydney’s top chefs and restaurateurs are getting involved by coming up with Vivid-themed menus for the festival.
Last year’s Vivid Sydney saw more than 2.31 million attendees, and this year, Sydney promises a festival that is bigger than ever before. The line-up includes more than 400 Vivid Music events, up from 190 in 2016. Also in the pipeline are more than 260 Vivid Ideas sessions featuring 370 speakers, an increase from the 183 sessions last year.
