The Battered Atlantic Cod Fingers (S$15), one of the tasty bar bites, kept our hunger at bay as we waited for the signature dishes at Wildfire Burgers to be served.

The wait for The Works (S$23) was well worth it as we sank our teeth into the glorious premium-aged beef patty sandwiched between layers of sliced tomatoes, streaky bacon and egg.

Made with N20-charged buttermilk batter, the Speculoos Waffle (S$15) was a breath of fresh air with its lighter and crispier texture that runs contrary to what we expect of the usual waffle.

Next up was The Song of India, nestled within a quaint corner of a prime area in Singapore. Expect to be greeted with grandeur exuding from the ambience and details of the interior décor as you step into the restaurant

Having heard marvellous reviews about this one-Michelin-starred restaurant, we were excited to finally see for ourselves if it lives up to the hype. Well, we were pleased as punch with the entire gastronomic experience at The Song of India and could see why they won the much-coveted title.

Our culinary journey across India began with this plate of Sarson Cod Tikka – chargrilled black cod marinated with mustard oil, coriander and tamarind – that made us fall in love with Indian cuisine right off the reel.
